Sinergeo once again at the forefront for groundwater safety

Sinergeo wins the European tender (the basic tender amount is just under one million euros) for the assignment of hydrogeological services aimed at the definition of the Protection Areas for all the drinking water abstraction (wells) and collection (springs) points managed by VIACQUA and ACEGASAPSAMGA within the Vicenza Province.

The activities, involving no. 310 mountain springs and no. 115 wells, located in fissured and karstic as well as in phreatic and confined aquifers contexts, will start in 2023 and will be accomplished within 54 months.

The company will deploy a multi-disciplinary team, involving engineers, geologists, environmental scientists and other experts in hydraulic and hydrochemical characterization.

The assignment will require experimental measurements, automatic monitoring, parameterisation tests and extensive field surveys, as well as chemical and isotopic analyses of the water resource.
